College Leave

Leave/Interval is a period when a student does not participate in academic activities but is still officially registered as a student with the following provisions:

  • Requests for academic leave are made at the same time as registration, a maximum of 1 effective day before the Mid Semester Examination
  • Academic leave is given per semester and can be taken for a maximum of 4 semesters during study
  • The academic leave period will reduce the maximum study period
  • During academic leave, students are exempt from SPP obligations, but registration is mandatory
    The following is a guide for applying for College Leave:

  1. Students download the status change form through the website star.ums.ac.id  on the menu Submission of a Status Change Letter
  2. Complete personal data and signature, as well as the study program stamp on the signature of the study program head
  3. Scan the Status Change Form and upload it on the submission BAA Service via the page star. ums.ac.id on the menu Submission of a Status Change Letter
  4. Submission is successful and please confirm to:
    • Bureau of Financial Administration -> Free validation of financial administration
    • Library –> Book loan-free validation
    • TU Faculty -> Validate leave/study lapse requestssource : Pengajuan Cuti Kuliah (ums.ac.id)
