Mathedu UMS Successfully Holds The International Conference on Mathematics and Learning Research (ICOMER) 2025

Wednesday, September 24, 2025—Mathematics Education UMS once again successfully held the International Conference on Mathematics and Learning Research (ICOMER) 2025 with the theme “Innovative Pathways in Mathematics and STEM Education: Bridging Theory, Practice, and Technology.”

This international conference featured inspiring speakers from various countries, including:

– Prof. Merrilyn Goos (The University of Queensland, Australia)

– Dr. Mark Angelo (University of Northern Philippines, Philippines)

– Dr. Rini Oktaviani, M.Sc. (Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia)

– Dr. Rita Pramujiyanti, M.Pd. (Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, Indonesia)

This event served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of ideas among researchers, lecturers, and students in developing innovative technology-based mathematics and STEM learning.

Many experiences, inspirations, and new insights emerged from the lively discussions about how mathematics education continues to evolve with the times.

The enthusiasm of the participants motivated the committee and the entire FKIP UMS academic community to present an even more exciting, innovative, and impactful ICOMER next year.
