Darul Ihsan Middle School, Sragen, visited the Mathematics Education Teaching Aids Display Room

Tuesday, October 14, 2025 — The excitement was palpable when students from Darul Ihsan Junior High School, Sragen, visited the Mathematics Educational Teaching Aids Display Room at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS)!

During this visit, the students not only listened to theory but also played and experimented with various interactive math teaching aids. From Math Jenga, counting board games, to geometry visualization tools—all of which made formulas easier to understand and, of course, more fun! 🎲📏
The learning atmosphere transformed into one filled with laughter and enthusiasm as students competed to solve math challenges through games. This activity proved that learning math doesn’t always have to be done in front of a blackboard; it can also be done through fun, interactive, and challenging activities.

It’s great to be equipped with tools that can help us start learning about plane geometry and other materials. In the digital age, many students find themselves bored, and perhaps having these kinds of teaching aids could be an engaging learning method. (Said a student, Arsyad Gifari S)

Mathedu UMS continues to innovate and provide creative learning experiences so that every student can discover the fun side of mathematics. (Nabilah Annisa’/Laboratory Assistant)
